Vieques island and her people are under serviced in every facet of modern life. Recognizing that stress and scarcity of resources leads to animal neglect and surrender, we support our neighbors in providing a safe, humane circumstance for their pets.

During a home visit, we often find animals chained. Fences are rare, and expensive. Many animals are tethered to keep them home and safe. We replace chains with lightweight tie outs, new collars and offer dog bowls. When we have it, we treat the animals for flea/ticks, offer first aid and free food. All of these goods are donated to us through our Amazon WishList or in-kind donations from non-profits. We also sign up every animal for free spay/neuter and offer free vet care.
